Female Soldier #29 | Shotgun

Another piece from my ongoing Female Soldier Series.

For this piece, I wanted to create a more dynamic combat pose, with the soldier aiming her shotgun across the composition.

The long horizontal silhouette of the weapon became an important part of the composition, while the curved sling helps visually connect the weapon back to the character.

I used green and camouflage tones for the uniform and equipment, with a simple gray atmospheric background to keep the focus on the soldier.
